A father and son riding a motorbike were injured when their car collided with MLA Amar Singh Yadav’s Fortuner car in Kurawar, Rajgarh district, on Saturday morning (October 10).
The seriously injured father, Raghavendra Vishwakarma (42), died during treatment in Bhopal, while his 11-year-old son, Lakshya, suffered minor injuries. MLA Amar Singh Yadav personally took both victims to the hospital after the accident.

According to media reports, the accident occurred on Saturday morning, October 10, near Chhote Mahakal Temple on the highway in Kurawar. The victim, identified as Raghavendra Vishwakarma, was returning home with his son, Lakshya, after purchasing vegetables and fruits when their motorcycle collided with the SUV.
Father Dies During Treatment in Bhopal
Both father and son sustained injuries in the collision. Raghavendra suffered serious head injuries and was initially taken to a local hospital for medical assistance. Due to his critical condition, he was referred to a hospital in Bhopal, where he later died during treatment.
His 11-year-old son, Lakshya, also sustained injuries in the accident. Reports indicate that his injuries were comparatively minor.
BJP MLA Takes Injured Victims to Hospital
BJP MLA Amar Singh Yadav was reportedly travelling from Bhopal to Rajgarh when the accident occurred. According to media reports, the vehicle was being driven by his driver at the time of the collision.
Following the accident, the MLA reportedly stopped and helped take the injured father and son to a nearby hospital with assistance from local residents. They subsequently received medical attention, and Raghavendra was referred to Bhopal for further treatment.
Police Register Case and Begin Investigation
According to reports, Kurawar police have registered a case against the car driver and seized the vehicles involved in the accident. An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances that led to the collision.
Raghavendra Vishwakarma worked at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in the Pilukhedi area. His death has left his family mourning a devastating loss.
