Pakistan raised the Kashmir issue

India has rebuked Pakistan’s Kashmir rhetoric at the UN, sharply criticizing Islamabad. India has labeled the Pakistani government a military-run government.

India has rebuked Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly for its remarks on Jammu and Kashmir. It has also criticized Islamabad, rejecting them. India has stated at the UN that Pakistani governments are subject to the whims of their military and, as a result, rarely complete their full terms.

India, using its right to reply at the UN Third Community meeting, has given a blunt reply to Pakistan on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.

India rejected Pakistan’s comments, stating that the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were and always will remain an integral and inalienable part of India. Bhavika Mangalanandan, India’s First Secretary at the UN, said, “We all know that so-called civilian governments in Pakistan are at the whim of their military. They rarely complete their full term.”

Referring to  former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said, “A former Prime Minister is in jail. There are reports of his health deteriorating rapidly. The previous ruling party has not been allowed to contest elections.”

India shows mirror to Pakistan

The statement from India said that instead of addressing discontent within its country, Pakistan is trying to divert attention by creating instability in India, sponsoring, instigating and promoting cross-border terrorism in our country for more than three decades and providing financial support.

The only issue is to get that area vacated…: India

India said, “The only remaining issue is the evacuation of the territory illegally and forcibly occupied by Pakistan. We have heard Pakistan’s cries for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They have said that this is Pakistan’s desperate attempt to cover up the ongoing tragedy in Rawalakot and other towns, the killing of hundreds of civilians, and the brutal crackdown on those demanding food, electricity, and human dignity in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.”

What else has India said in its statement?

India did not call this a surprise, saying it was a natural consequence of Pakistan’s long-standing military occupation and unending repression in the region.

When any independent media in Pakistan is prevented from covering such news, it becomes a strong proof to the world that only Form 47 of the government, its masters and the Army Headquarters prevails there.

India said that the UNGA’s Third Committee, which deals with social, humanitarian and cultural issues, was informed that, unlike the situation in Pakistan, assembly elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir in 2024. People participated in these elections enthusiastically, and power was subsequently handed over to the elected government peacefully.

It further stated that there was a stark difference between the two situations. The human rights violations occurring in Kashmir are being perpetrated by the Pakistan Army and its terrorist operatives. Repeating something repeatedly does not make it true. Instead of eyeing other people’s territory, Pakistan should focus on strengthening its economy.
