The temperature has come down due to the rain. However, many districts of western UP including Noida-Ghaziabad are experiencing humid heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the series of rains will intensify from today (24 June). In such a situation, heavy rains are expected in most parts of the state.
There is a possibility of rain till June 29. However, this is not going to make any significant difference in the temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain showers with thunder and lightning at many places in both eastern and western UP divisions on Tuesday. During this time, warning has been given of lightning along with thunder at some places.
An alert has been issued for heavy rain in 16 districts including Agra, Lakhimpur Kheri and Kushinagar. From June 26, the rain will intensify in western UP. In such a situation, there will be heavy rain at many places. There will be intermittent rain in the state for the next six days.
Due to the increased speed of rain in UP, there
is also an alert of lightning at many places. In such a situation, people need to be careful. In UP, warning has been issued of heavy rain and lightning along with thunder in Agra, Firozabad, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj and Kushinagar today. Rain is expected at one or two places in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor, Meerut and Ghaziabad today.
There is a possibility of rain at many places in Noida, Hapur, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Ballia, Mau, Azamgarh, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Basti and Gonda today. Due to rain, people have got relief from the heat. However, there will be no major change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the coming days.
