Shardiya Navratri 2026 Bhog List: During the nine days of Navratri, different forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped. It is believed that offering the Goddess’s favorite offerings each day bestows blessings of health, happiness, prosperity, and longevity.
The sacred festival of Navratri is a grand celebration of the worship of Goddess Shakti, Maa Durga. During these nine days, nine divine forms of the Mother Goddess are ritually worshipped. Navratri occurs four times a year: Chaitra, Ashadha, Magh, and Sharadiya. Of these, Chaitra and Ashwin (Sharadiya) Navratris are considered the most important, while the Navratris falling in the months of Ashadha and Magh are considered secret Navratris.
According to Nitika Sharma, Director of Shri Laxminarayan Astro Solutions, Ajmer, Astrologer and Tarot Card Reader, Sharadiya Navratri begins on the Pratipada Tithi of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of the month of Ashwin. This year, Navratri will begin on Sunday, October 11, 2026, and conclude on October 20, 2026. Vijayadashami (Dussehra) will also be celebrated on October 20.
According to the Vedic calendar, Ashwin Shukla Pratipada Tithi begins at 9:19 pm on October 10 and ends at 9:30 pm on October 11. Based on the Udayatithi, Sharadiya Navratri will begin on October 11, 2026.

9 Days of Navratri: Which Bhog to Offer to Which Goddess?
Astrologer Neetika Sharma explains that Lord Shri Ram also gained power by worshipping Goddess Bhagwati during Navratri and killed Ravana on Vijayadashami. Offering the nine forms of the Goddess their favorite foods yields special benefits:
Day 1 (Maa Shailputri): Maa Shailputri is considered the goddess of health. On the first day, offer pure cow ghee to her. This blesses one with a healthy body and happiness.
Day 2 (Maa Brahmacharini): To receive the blessing of longevity, offer sugar to Maa Brahmacharini on the second day. Religious belief holds that this removes the fear of premature death.
Third Day (Maa Chandraghanta): On the third day, offer milk and milk-based sweets to Maa Chandraghanta. Doing so brings relief from all the sorrows and sufferings of life.
Fourth Day (Maa Kushmanda): On the fourth day, it is customary to offer Malpua to Maa Kushmanda. Feeding Malpua to Brahmins is also considered auspicious on this day. This helps develop intelligence and enhances the ability to make right decisions.
Fifth Day (Maa Skandamata): On the fifth day, offer bananas to Skandamata. Offering bananas to the Goddess bestows the blessing of lifelong health.
Sixth Day (Maa Katyayani): On the sixth day, offerings of honey are made to Maa Katyayani. It is believed that offering honey bestows the blessings of attractiveness and radiance upon the devotee.
Seventh Day (Maa Kaalratri): On the seventh day, offer jaggery to Maa Kaalratri. This protects devotees from unexpected troubles and calamities.
Eighth Day (Maa Mahagauri): On Maha Ashtami, Maa Mahagauri is worshipped and Kanya Pujan is performed. Offering coconut to the Goddess on this day is considered highly auspicious. This eliminates all problems related to children.
Ninth Day (Maa Siddhidatri): On the ninth day, offer sesame seeds to Maa Siddhidatri. Those who fear untimely or sudden death receive protection through the worship of Maa Siddhidatri.
