Gorakhpur News: BJP MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh’s car met with an accident on Gorakhpur Link Expressway and hit a divider and overturned, in this accident one of his hands got fractured.
Gorakhpur News: BJP MLA from Campierganj in Gorakhpur, UP, Fateh Bahadur Singh’s car hit a divider on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway and overturned. He survived the accident as his airbag opened. However, one of his arms got fractured. He has been admitted to a private nursing home for an operation on his arm. Two policemen who were in another car for his security and 2-3 other people are reported to have been injured in the accident. Fateh Bahadur has been a cabinet minister in the BSP government and is the elder son of former UP CM late Veer Bahadur Singh.
This horrific accident happened on Monday 23 June at around 7 pm on Gorakhpur Link Expressway near Mahadeva Bazar of Sikriganj police station area of Gorakhpur. BJP MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh was seriously injured in this road accident. Along with Fateh Bahadur Singh, two of his security personnel and two other people were seriously injured. The accident happened when Fateh Bahadur Singh was going towards Gorakhpur by car. His escort vehicle went out of control and hit the divider and overturned. At the same time, his luxury car coming from behind also collided with it, due to which the collision was so severe that all the people in the car were badly injured.

Hearing the sound of the accident, the nearby villagers reached the spot and helped in taking out the injured. In this accident, one hand of MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh got fractured. After which he was immediately admitted to a private nursing home, where he was operated upon. Apart from him, other injured have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. The administration has shifted all the injured to the ICU. After getting the news of the accident, his supporters, family members and well-wishers have gathered in large numbers outside the hospital.
SP South Jitendra Kumar said that this accident happened on the four-lane near Mahadeva Bazar in Sikriganj at around 7 pm. After getting information about the accident, the police team and the ambulance along with the relief team immediately reached the spot. All the injured have been taken to the hospital for immediate treatment. The reason behind the accident is being investigated.
