‘ In a conversation with news agency IANS, Mohit expressed his happiness over the success of ‘Saiyara’. He said, ‘Every evening from 6 to 9 pm I am on the phone because I wait for the information about the evening show from the theatres. People are calling and expressing their feelings, some are talking emotionally and crying. Seeing this love, I feel that such a film can hardly be made again. This is very special for me.’
Referring to his wife Udita’s complaints, Mohit said, “I tell Udita that I am not going out to party. I am sitting at home and feeling the love of the audience. Give me 2-3 weeks, when the film’s great run in theatres will be over, then I will become the old Mohit again.”

The music of ‘Saiyara’ has also proved to be a chartbuster. The title track of the film remains a favorite of the audience, while the song ‘Barbaad’ is in the news for its depth and great video. Talking about ‘Barbaad’, Mohit said- ‘It was like God’s blessing in the shooting of this song. In a scene, where two characters were coming close for the first time, that shot was not supposed to be so long. I let the camera run and the actors performed it well. At the same time, the light also fell right. It was a magical moment. We tried to take that shot for the second time, but that magic could not be created again. When everything is right, it is called the magic of filmmaking.
