In a reel posted on Instagram and YouTube, the Leader of the Opposition, speaking to students, said that India’s education system doesn’t even deserve to be called an education system. It’s a “system of exclusion.”
Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, while interacting with the youth in a video on Instagram on Sunday, said that the system currently prevalent in the country is not an education system, but a “boycott system”.
The aim is to exclude millions of Indian youth. The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha shared a video on Instagram showing him recently interacting with a group of students. Gandhi made the comment in the video. “If you don’t have money, power, or don’t speak English, the system will exclude you without a second thought,” Rahul Gandhi said.
The current education system is a system of exclusion.
He said, “You can’t call this an education system. It’s a system of exclusion, designed to exclude millions of Indian youth.” Besides interacting with students through social media platforms, Rahul Gandhi is also engaging with youth at large through his “Schools’ Echoes” initiative. Earlier this month, during the “Schools’ Echoes” event in Chennai, Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He also said that “The current education system is essentially an ‘exclusionary’ system. It is designed to keep 99% of Indian youth out of higher education, quality jobs, and opportunities. Through unfair exams, exorbitant fees, and deliberate barriers, millions of promising young people are deliberately pushed out, rather than welcomed.”
